About us

The Pecos Rifle and Pistol Club was established in 1951. The club maintains a 160 acre shooting range south of Pecos, Texas which includes a full-distance High Power/Service Rifle range, and firing lines out to 800 yards. Our club is dedicated to facilitating the American shooting tradition.

The Run 'n Gun 'n the Sun (centerfire biathlon),
Buffalo Gong Blackpowder Cartridge match
Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot
Christmas Turkey Shoot
Monthly Service Rifle/High Power match (80 shots plus sighters)
Lever Action Rifle Silhouette matches
We are currently working on hosting 3-Gun matches
*If there is an interest in a different type of match we will happily consider putting it on.
